Candidates are advised to download their call letter only from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates need to follow the steps discussed below:
- Open the official website of IBPS on your device, www.ibps.in.
- On the homepage, go to the “CRP PO/MT” section and click on it.
- Look for the link “Download Call Letter for Online Preliminary Examination – CRP PO/MT-XVI” and click on it.
- Then, on the login portal, provide your Registration No. / Roll No. and Password / Date of Birth (DD-MM-YY).
- Enter the Captcha code as displayed on the screen.
- Your call letter for the preliminary exam will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the call letter as a PDF file on your device and take 2 to 3 printouts for the exam day.

Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Candidates must be born between 02.07.1996 and 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive)
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years relaxation
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen/Commissioned Officers (min. 5 years military service): 5 years relaxation
Educational Qualification (as on 21.07.2026)
- A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
- Candidates must have a valid mark sheet/degree certificate proving graduate status on the day of registration and must indicate their graduation percentage while applying online.
- The final result must have been declared on or before 21.07.2026.
Nationality
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African/other countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (eligibility certificate from the Govt. of India required).

IBPS PO Selection Process 2026
- Stage 1 – Online Preliminary Examination: Objective test, qualifying in nature.
- Stage 2 – Online Main Examination: Objective + Descriptive test; marks count toward final merit.
- Stage 3 – Personality Test: A self-report test, mandatory to attend but non-qualifying in nature; results are shared with the interview panel.
- Stage 4 – Interview: Conducted by Participating Banks, coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/UT.
- Stage 5 – Provisional Allotment: Based on merit-cum-preference and actual vacancies reported by banks.
Final merit is based on Main Exam + Interview marks in an 80:20 weightage ratio. Minimum qualifying marks in the interview are 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).

Note the revised weightage: Reasoning now carries 40 marks in Prelims (up from the earlier pattern), while Quantitative Aptitude carries 30 marks — a notable shift from previous cycles.
Negative Marking
- 0.25 marks (1/4th) deducted for each wrong answer in objective sections.
- No penalty for unattempted questions.
Personality Test & Interview
- Personality Test: Self-report format, mandatory for interview eligibility, non-qualifying, may be conducted in proctored online mode or at designated centres.
- Interview: 100 marks total; conducted by Participating Banks.

- Click “Click Here for New Registration” and enter basic details (name, email, mobile number).
- Note the Provisional Registration Number and Password generated (also sent via SMS/Email).
- Log in and fill in personal, educational, and category details carefully.
- Upload the required documents:
- Photograph
- Signature
- Left thumb impression
- Hand-written declaration
- SSC/SSLC/10th standard or equivalent certificate
- Live photograph captured via webcam or mobile phone
