IDRBT Summer Internship 2026

The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), Hyderabad, has opened applications for its Summer Internship Programme (ISIP) – 2026. This programme offers students a unique opportunity to work with India’s premier banking technology institution, apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, and gain exposure to cutting-edge banking and financial technologies. A maximum of 10 candidates will be selected for the three-month internship.

IDRBT Summer Internship 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the programme:

Who Can Apply: Students who are close to course completion of either of the following:

• Postgraduate programmes in Technology or Management (with a background in IT or allied domains).
• Four-year undergraduate programmes in IT and allied domains.

Institution: Applicants must be enrolled in recognised and reputed institutions/colleges in India.

ISIP Stipend & Facilities 2026

Selected interns will be provided with the following benefits:

• Stipend: A monthly stipend of ₹14,000/- .
• Accommodation: Special accommodation facilities for out-stationed interns, particularly girls, at IDRBT Staff Quarters, Begumpet, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.
• PPO Opportunity: High-performing interns will be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) . The PPO duration is 26 weeks, upon completion of which the candidate can be absorbed by IDRBT in a suitable role with appropriate compensation.

Step 1: Submit Online Application Form

Step 2: Send Email with Documents

• Email the required documents to isip@idrbt.ac.in
• Use the subject line: “Application to IDRBT Summer Internship Programme”
• The email must include:
  1. Updated resume / Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  2. Scanned copy of the filled, duly signed, and stamped Letter of Recommendation / No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the appropriate authority.
     • Note: A sample format for the Letter of Recommendation / NOC is available on the IDRBT website.
• An application will be considered complete and accepted only if BOTH steps are successfully completed. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Selection Process

IDRBT will select a maximum of 10 candidates through the following process:

1. Initial Shortlisting: Based on academic performance and the Statement of Purpose (SOP).
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview.
   • Online interviews are scheduled on: 02 Feb 2026, 20 Feb 2026, 13 Mar 2026, and 20 April 2026.
3. Final Selection: Selected candidates will be informed via email or phone, along with further joining details.
