The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released official notifications for Non-Academic vacancies under two separate advertisements. A total of 11 vacancies have been announced for Group ‘A’ Non-Academic posts, comprising 05 vacancies under regular recruitment (Advt. No. E-II/02/2026(DR) dated 26th February 2026) and 06 backlog vacancies under Special Recruitment Drive (Advt. No. E-II/01/2026(DR) dated 26th February 2026).

Candidates can apply online from 26th February to 8th April 2026 (up to 5:00 PM) through the NIELIT recruitment portal.

How to Apply for IIT Delhi Non-Academic Vacancy 2026?
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official NIELIT recruitment portal. Follow the simple steps below to complete your application form correctly.
Step 1: Visit the NIELIT recruitment portal at https://recruit-iitd.nielit.in/
Step 2: Register as a new user or login with existing credentials
Step 3: Fill in the online application form with personal details, educational qualifications, and employment history (in reverse chronological order)
Step 4: Upload all self-attested documents:
- Academic qualifications (10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation with marksheets and degrees)
- Experience certificates from initial employment till date
- Initial and last salary slips/office orders indicating pay scale
- Equivalency certificate (IDA/CDA to 7th CPC) if applicable
- CGPA to Percentage conversion certificate (if applicable)
- Caste and Category certificates (if applicable)
- ID Proof (Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID Card)
Step 5: Pay the application fee online through the payment gateway
Step 6: Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference
Step 7: For candidates serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs/CPSEs/Autonomous Organizations, forward the printout of completed application along with all requisite documents THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL as per Annexure I within 20 days of the last date of submission to:

Selection Process
The selection process for IIT Delhi Non-Academic Vacancy 2026 includes the following stages:
Stage 1: Shortlisting
- Applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria
- If applications are in excess, Scrutiny Committee may adopt additional/higher criteria based on academic performance, years of experience, higher degree, etc.
Stage 2: Tier-I Evaluation (if applicable)
- Written test or other evaluation process as decided by the Institute
Stage 3: Tier-II (Presentation) and Tier-III (Interview)
- The ratio of vacancy to candidates called for Tier-II and Tier-III shall be 1:8
- Candidates will be called for document verification, presentation, and interview
Stage 4: Document Verification
- Original documents must be produced for verification
- Candidates failing to produce valid documents will not be considered
