1. FIREMAN
No. of Vacancies: 95 Nos. (Gen-48, SC-14, ST-07, OBC-26. Out of the total posts, 09 posts are reserved for EXS and 01 post is reserved for PWD)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on the closing date.
Pay Scale: Rs.19900-63200/-

 

The vacancies are at Naval Dockyard (Mumbai), NAD (Trombay/ Karanja), MO (Mumbai) and WED (Mankhurd) in Western Naval Command for the year 2018.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 81.5 cms; Chest (expanded) — 85 cms; Weight — 50 kgs
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Document Verification. The Written Examination and Physical Endurance Test (PET) will be conducted in Mumbai only.
