Indian Navy is inviting application from the eligible unmarried male candidates for Stewards, Chefs and Hygienists for MR-APR 2018 Batch. Course Commencing April 2018. STEWARDS, CHEFS AND HYGIENISTS

Educational Qualification: Matriculation Examination or equivalent.

 

Age Limit: Born Between: 01/04/1997 to 31/03/2001

 

Pay Scale: Rs.21,700 – Rs.43,100

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 157 cm; Minimum chest expansion by 5 cms, Weight: As per height and age. Height may be relaxed for Tribal candidates as per the prevailing regulations.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Fitness Test and Medical Examinations.

Candidates selected for the post will be on training, during which Stipend Rs.14,600/- pm will be paid. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700- ₹43,100). In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
