Intelligence Bureau (IB) – Recruitment of 74 Personal Assistant and Jr. Intelligence Officer. Last Dt. 02/06/2014

Intelligence Bureau (IB), under Ministry of Home Affairs, is recruiting 74 Nos. “Personal Assistant” and “Junior Intelligence Officer”. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Skill Test and Interview. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application through Online Mode (See URL below). Educational qualification norms and brief details are given below —

1. PERSONAL ASSISTANT (P.A), General Central Service, Group-B (Non-Gazetted/ Ministerial)
Number of Vacancies: 42 Nos. (Gen—13; SC—13; ST—8; OBC—8)
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with proficiency in Stenography. Candidates shall have ability to take Dictation at 10 words per minute for 10 minutes and Transcript the same on computer within 40 minutes (if English) or 55 minutes (if Hindi). Knowledge of computer is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/- plus other allowances as per norms.

2. JUNIOR INTELLIGENCE OFFICER, Grade-II/ Tech (JIO-II/Tech), General Central Service, Group-C (Non-Gazetted/ Non-Ministerial)
Number of Vacancies: 32 Nos. (Gen—18; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—7)
Qualification: Matriculation with ITI certificate for two years duration course in Radio Technician or Communication or Computer or Electronics or Electrical.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Age Limit: Candidates shall be between 18yrs to 27yrs as on 02/06/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination (Objective Type Multiple Choice), Skill Test and Interview. See the released advt. given below in PDF file for complete details.
The engagement to the posts are on temporary basis but likely to be continued.
Examination will be held at various examination centres in the country. For West Bengal, the examination centre will be Kolkata and Siliguri.

Examination Fee: Rs.50/- for General and OBC candidates. Fee is to be paid by cash deposit (offline payment) at any branch of State Bank of India using the Challan form (available in part-II of the online application) or by using internet banking facility of State Bank of India or State Bank Debit-cum-ATM card.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST  CANDIDATES AND ALL WOMEN CANDIDATES.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates shall apply online only through the official website of Ministry of Home Affairs – www.mha.nic.in (See the live URL to Application form given below).
Online Application form submission will be begin from 03/05/2014 and will close on 02/06/2014.

The format of online application form is divided into two parts viz.Part-I relates to the personal, academic and other particulars of the candidate and Part-II relates to the payment modes. The candidate will have to fill up the Part-I of online application, upload their photograph and signature and then select option for payment of fees, if any, in Part II of the application form.
The candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature at the time of online registration itself.
Upon successful submission of online Application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates shall print-out this Registration Slip and shall retain it safely for future correspondence. DO NOT THE PRINT-OUT TO ANYWHERE.
