ISRO SAC Scientist/Engineer Notification 2026 Out at sac.gov.in, Apply Online by 12th Feb

The Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released the official notification Advt. No. SAC:01:2026 inviting online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for various Group ‘A’ posts of Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ and ‘SC’. The ISRO SAC Scientist/Engineer online application process is currently open and candidates can submit their applications through the official SAC website until 12th February 2026.

Educational Qualification

For SD Posts:
(a) M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc (Engg) with 60% or CGPA 6.5/10, OR
(b) B.E./B.Tech with 65% or CGPA 6.84/10, OR
(c) Ph.D. in relevant field (for Post Code 02 & 03)

For SC Posts:

• M.E./M.Tech based: Master’s with 60% or CGPA 6.5 OR Bachelor’s with 65% or CGPA 6.84
• M.Sc based: Master’s with 65% or CGPA 6.84 OR Bachelor’s with 60% or CGPA 6.5

Candidates must possess the requisite qualifications from recognized universities as on 12.02.2026.

Age Limit (as on 12.02.2026)

• SD Posts: 18–35 years
• SC Posts (M.E./M.Tech): 18–30 years
• SC Posts (M.Sc): 18–28 years

Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Central Govt. employees as per Govt. rules.

ISRO SAC Scientist/Engineer Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process varies by post:

For Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ (Post Code 01-03):

• Initial Screening → Personal Interview

For Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Post Code 04-16):

1. Written Test (Computer Based)
2. Personal Interview (for shortlisted candidates)

Candidates must apply online through the official SAC website:

1. Step 1: Visit SAC Careers Portal or SAC Official Website
2. Step 2: Register in ISRO Live Register portal (if new) or update existing profile
3. Step 3: Login and fill online application form with personal, educational, and contact details
4. Step 4: Upload required documents:
   • Recent passport photo (JPEG, max 1 MB)
   • Signature (JPEG, max 1 MB)

ISRO SAC Scientist/Engineer Salary 2026

• Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’: Level-11 (₹67,100 – ₹2,08,700)
• Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)

Plus allowances (DA, HRA, Transport), medical facilities, subsidized canteen, LTC, group insurance, and other benefits as per Govt. rules.
