ISRO VSSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre has laid out detailed eligibility conditions in the official notification. Candidates must satisfy the academic, experience and age criteria before attending the selection drive.
ISRO VSSC Educational Qualification
Candidates must have acquired their Degree/Diploma before April 2022. Candidates appearing for final year examinations, those awaiting results, or those currently pursuing M.E./M.Tech. are not eligible to apply. Where a university’s Degree Certificate or Consolidated Mark-sheet mentions both CGPA and percentage of marks, meeting either one of the two eligibility norms is sufficient. Conversion of CGPA into percentage is not permitted to determine eligibility, regardless of any conversion formula prescribed by the university.
Experience & Prior Apprenticeship Restriction
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and its Amendment Act, 1973, or who have one year or more of experience from any institution as an apprentice, are not eligible to apply. Combining apprenticeship with other institutions is also not permitted. Further, candidates who have completed five years from the month and year of passing as specified in their Degree/Diploma certificate will not be considered for apprenticeship training; this five-year eligibility window also applies at the time of empanelment/waitlist engagement.
Regional Priority
Priority will be given to candidates from recognised Universities/State Boards of Technical Education under the Southern Region of BoAT — Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry. Candidates from other regions will be considered only in case of a shortage of applications in a particular discipline.

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre has adopted a walk-in application process for this recruitment. Applications will be accepted only at the selection drive venue and will not be accepted through any other mode. Candidates must follow the steps below.
- Visit the VSSC pavilion at Karthika Thirunal Govt. V&GHSS for Girls, Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram, on 25.07.2026 between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Carry original certificates along with self-attested copies of the Degree/Diploma Certificate (Provisional/Final) and Consolidated Mark list.
- Carry the SSLC/SSC/AISSE/ICSE certificate as proof of date of birth, an Experience Certificate (if any), and one passport-size photograph.
