Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), under Ministry of Home Affairs, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 14 posts of Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse), Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist/ Lab Tech./ Radiographer) and Head Constable (Midwife). INDO-TIBETAN BORDER POLICE FORCE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 14 POSTS OF SUB INSPECTOR (STAFF NURSE), ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (PHARMACIST/ LAB TECH./ RADIOGRAPHER) AND HEAD CONSTABLE (MIDWIFE). LAST DATE — 30/10/2015 (07.11.2015 for far flung areas)

 

1. Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse) (Male/Female): 03 Nos. (UR-1; SC-1; OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed and must have passed General Nursing & Midwifery course. Candidates must be registered with Central/State Nursing Council.
Desirable: 03 years experience as Nurse.
Age Limit: Between 21 years to 30 years as on 30.10.2015
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/ – Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

 

2. Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) (Male/Female): 02 Nos. (UR-1; ST-1)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology AND Diploma in Pharmacy. Candidates must be registered as Pharmacist.
Age Limit: Between 20 years to 28 years as on 30.10.2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/ – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-

 

3. Assistant Sub Inspector (Lab Technician) (Male/Female): 04 Nos. (UR-3; ST-1)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology AND Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology plus one year experience as Laboratory Technician.
Age Limit: Between 20 years to 28 years as on 30.10.2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/ – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-

 

4. Assistant Sub Inspector (Radiographer) (Male/Female): 03 Nos. (UR-1; SC-1; OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology AND Diploma in Radio Diagnosis. One year experience in the field is desirable.
Age Limit: Between 20 years to 28 years as on 30.10.2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/ – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-

 

5. Head Constable (Midwife) (Female only): 02 Nos. (UR-1; OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent passed and Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery course from recognized institution. Candidates should be registered in State/Central Nursing Council.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on 30.10.2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/ – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others

 

Physical Standards:
For Male Candidates: Height – 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 80/85cms (77/82cms for ST); Weight – Corresponding to height.
For Female Candidates: Height – 150 cms for all; Chest – Not Applicable; Weight – Corresponding to height.

Eye Sight: Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction/glassess. Color blind person are not eligible to apply.

Cut-off in Physical Standards for candidates belonging to the races, namely, Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimies, persons hailing from Leh and Ladakh, Kashmir Valley, J&K and North- Eastern States and the State of Himachal Pradesh, will be as per Govt. norms. Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Standard Test, Written, Practical and Viva voce Examination. There will be Medical Examination at final stage.

The engagement to the posts will be on temporary basis but likely to be permanent in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.50/- for General and OBC candidates as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Commandant Base Hospital ITBPF Delhi if applying for the post of HC (Midwife) AND DIG (Medical), Composite Hospital Chandigarh for rest of all posts.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF EX-SERVICEMEN, FEMALE CANDIDATES AND SC/ST CATEGORIES.
