Engagement of Interns at IWAI, under the Internship Programme (2026-27)
Applications are invited from eligible Indian students for the IWAI Internship Programme 2026-27. The internship offers a short-term exposure to the functioning and project work at the Authority’s Headquarters in Noida and its various Regional/Sub-Offices across India. Students pursuing or having completed Graduate, Post-Graduate, or Research courses from recognized universities are eligible to apply.
IWAI Internship Programme Details
- Internship Period: Throughout the year, based on availability.
- Duration: Minimum of 1 month, maximum of 3 months (extendable up to 6 months in exceptional cases).
- Location: IWAI Headquarters, Noida, or various Regional Offices (Kolkata, Patna, Guwahati, Kochi, Varanasi, Bhubaneshwar) and Sub-Offices.
- Stipend:
- Undergraduate (UG): ₹10,000 per month
- Postgraduate (PG) / Research Scholar: ₹20,000 per month
(Stipend payable upon satisfactory completion)
- Logistics: Working space provided. Interns must bring their own laptops. No accommodation provided. Travel on official assignments will be reimbursed.

IWAI Internship Eligibility Criteria
