Who is Eligible to Apply for JKBOPEE BSc Nursing CET 2026?
Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for the JKBOPEE BSc Nursing CET 2026:
A. Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing Programme:
Domicile: Must be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh. (For UT of Ladakh candidates, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority shall be treated as Domicile certificate).
Age Limit: Minimum 17 years old on 31st December 2026. Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) and English individually.
- Open Merit: Minimum 45% marks in PCB taken together.
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/ALC/IB/RBA): Minimum 40% marks in PCB taken together.
Medical Fitness: Candidate must be medically fit.
Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the qualifying certificate at the time of admission.
B. Eligibility for B.Sc. Para-Medical Courses:
Domicile: Must be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 years old on 31st December 2026. Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) and English from a recognized Board/University.
Medical Fitness: Candidate must be medically fit.
C. Eligibility for B.Sc. Technology Courses (SKIMS, Soura):
Domicile: Must be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 years old on 31st December 2026.
Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English with:
- Open Merit: Minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
- Reserved Categories: Minimum 40% marks in aggregate.

The selection process for JKBOPEE CET 2026 is as follows:
Step 1: Entrance Examination: Candidates must appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) scheduled for 26th April 2026 (tentatively).
Step 2: Answer Key and Result: The answer key will be displayed on the BOPEE website after the examination. Candidates can submit representations against the answer key within 3 days. The revised key will be final. Results will be declared based on the final answer key.
