1. JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 175 Nos. (UR-88, SC-28, ST-02, EBC-31, BC-26)
Educational Qualification: Full time three years Diploma in Civil from a recognized Institute/ College.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years (maximum 40 years for Female candidates) as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,900-48,900/-
2. JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 400 Nos. (UR-200, SC-64, ST-04, EBC-72, BC-60)
Educational Qualification: Full time three years Diploma in Electrical from a recognized Institute/ College.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years (maximum 40 years for Female candidates) as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,900-48,900/-
The vacancies are for Head Offices and field offices.
Note: Reserved Category candidates of states other than Bihar will be treated as General Category candidates. Candidates appearing for final examination will not be eligible to apply for the above posts.
The candidates selected for the post will be on Probation for a period of three (03) years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for EBC/BC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held tentatively in last week of July 2018.
