The vacancies are for various time-bound projects. 1. PROJECT ASSISTANT-I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation/ EEE/ Electronics Engineering with 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 23.10.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15000/- per month.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. in EEE / Electronics with 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 23.10.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month.
3. PROJECT ASSISTANT-III
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) with 55% marks with two years relevant experience.
OR
M.E./ M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) with 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 23.10.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 28000/- per month.
4. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc.(Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences) with 55% marks.
Desirable: i) Minimum one year experience in enzymes/ downstream processing.
ii) M.Tech qualified in the relevant field will be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 24.10.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month.
5. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Chemistry) with 55% marks with GATE.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 24.10.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month.
6. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. (Microbiology/ Industrial Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering).
OR
M.Tech. with 55% marks in (Microbiology/ Industrial Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering) with a minimum of two years experience in any Biotech Industry.
Desirable: Candidate should be experienced in downstream processing of enzymes, enzyme kinetics, protein characterization and handling of microbes.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24.10.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 36000/- per month.
7. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Chemistry/ Catalysis.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24.10.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 36000/- per month.
The vacancies are for various time-bound projects in different schemes. The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis initially for a period of One year or Six months, which may be extended depending on the duration of the project/ performance of the candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test/ Interview.
