CSIR – National Physical Laboratory is recruiting eligible candidates for 04 posts of Project Assistant- I, Project Assistant- II and Semi-Skilled Man Power. The vacancies are for the project entitled “Consultancy Services to Department of legal Metrology (LM) for conceptualization and providing technical, infrastructural and manpower inputs for establishing the secondary timing system for dissemination of IST under Legal Metrology Act 2009”. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis for a period of five (05) years. 1. PROJECT ASSISTANT- I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech with 60% marks or equivalent in Electronics and Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ or equivalent degree.
Desirable: Experience in Precision Measurements.
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on 30/07/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT- I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech with 60% marks or equivalent in Instrumentation/ Electronics or equivalent degree.
Desirable: Instrumentation and Automation/ Networking and Interfacing.
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on 30/07/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
3. PROJECT ASSISTANT- II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech with 60% marks or equivalent in Computer Science with one year of experience from a govt. institution or a central govt. recognised institute.
OR M. Tech (60% or equivalent) in Computer Science or equivalent.
Desirable: Software development in area of Metrology or Time and Frequency Measurements.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/07/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
4. SEMI- SKILLED MAN POWER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard with science subject with 60% marks or equivalent.
OR ITI (1st division) in Information Technology or Electronics or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum two years post-qualification experience in a govt. recognized institute in the area of IT/ computer science/ Networking/ Electronics.
Desirable: Experience in maintenance of computers, Network support and services in any Govt. organization.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/07/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Candidates waiting for results/ final semester appeared or appearing are not eligible to apply for the post.
