AIRMEN IN GROUP ‘X’ TRADES (EXCEPT EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR TRADE) AND GROUP ‘Y’ (EXCEPT AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) AND MUSICIAN) TRADES.
GROUP ‘X’ (EXCEPT EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR TRADE)
Educational Qualification: i) Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
ii) Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream from a recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma (or in Intermediate/ Marticulation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
Age Limit: Born between 14/07/1998 and 26/06/2002.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.33,100/- per month.
GROUP ‘Y’ (EXCEPT AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) AND MUSICIAN) TRADES
Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Age Limit: Born between 14/07/1998 and 26/06/2002.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 26,900/- per month.
GROUP ‘Y’ MEDICAL ASSISTANT TRADE
Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2/ Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Age Limit: Born between 14/07/1998 and 26/06/2002.
Note: Diploma holders are eligible to appear for Group X trades only.
Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be sent for a Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) at Basic Training Institute, Belagavi (Karnataka). On successful completion of JBPT, candidates will undergo trade training. During training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be paid to the candidates.
Physical Standards (For Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade) and Group ‘Y’ (Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician) only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 152.5 cms; Chest — Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm.; Weight — Proportionate to height and age. However, minimum weight of 55 Kg required for Operations Assistant (ATS) Trade only.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. Applicant who have undergone Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test and Medical Examination. The test will be conducted from 13th September, 2018 to 16th September, 2018.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.250/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
