Odisha Forest Development Corporation Limited (OFDCL) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 45 posts of Assistant Manager (Deputy Divisional Manager) and Junior Manager (Sub-Divisional Manager). The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of six (06) years. 1. ASSISTANT MANAGER (DEPUTY DIVISIONAL MANAGER)
No. of Vacancies: 14 Nos. (UR-07, SC-04, SEBC-03)
Educational Qualification:

i) Bachelors’ Degree from recognised University or Institution with at least one of the following subjects at under graduate level namely Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and Zoology or Bachelors’ Degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.
ii) a) Candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia, or
b) Have passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a language or subject, or
c) Have passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above from any school affiliated to CBSE or ICSE recognized by the State Govt., or
d) Have passed a test in Odia language in Middle English School Standard conducted by the Govt. of School & Mass Education Department of Odisha/ Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- with Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

 

2. JUNIOR MANAGER (SUB-DIVISIONAL MANAGER)
No. of Vacancies: 31 Nos. (UR-17, SC-08, ST-01, SEBC-05)
Educational Qualification:

i) Bachelors’ Degree from recognised University or Institution with at least one of the following subjects at under graduate level namely Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and Zoology or Bachelors’ Degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.
ii) a) Candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia, or
b) Have passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as a language or subject, or
c) Have passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above from any school affiliated to CBSE or ICSE recognized by the State Govt., or
d) Have passed a test in Odia language in Middle English School Standard conducted by the Govt. of School & Mass Education Department of Odisha/ Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

 

The selected candidates shall be required to under go training in a recognised Forest College to obtain the Diploma in Forestry. The candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 84 cms; Chest (expanded) — 89 cms
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150 cms; Chest — 79 cms; Chest (expanded) — 84 cms

Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Endurance Test and Interview.
