Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 03 posts of Project Scientist (Wildlife Policy Expert/ Field Study & Training Expert/ Liasioning Expert). The vacancies are for the project entitled “Knowledge Support to Development of Guidelines, Specialized Field Studies and Training on Human Wildlife Conflict mitigation in India” funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft for Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, under the Indo-German Technical Cooperation project on “Human Wildlife Conflict Mitigation in India (HWC)” being implemented by MoEFCC and GIZ in India. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which can be extendable up to April 30, 2021 depending on the candidate’s performance and the project requirement. 1. PROJECT SCIENTIST (WILDLIFE POLICY EXPERT)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Masters/ PhD in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Social Studies/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Forestry.
MSc and minimum 04 years of experience or PhD.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 30.06.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 50,000/- per month.

 

2. PROJECT SCIENTIST (FIELD STUDY & TRAINING EXPERT)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Masters/ PhD in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Social Studies/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Forestry.
MSc and minimum 04 years of experience or PhD.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 30.06.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 50,000/- per month.

 

3. PROJECT SCIENTIST (LIASIONING EXPERT)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Masters/ PhD in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Social Studies/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Forestry.
MSc and minimum 04 years of experience or PhD.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 30.06.2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Test and Personal Interview. The online test will be conducted in Dehradun. The online test is likely to be held on 13th July, 2018. The interview is likely to be held on 14th July 2018.
