Pay Scale: Pay Band-II, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (Level-9 as per 7th CPC).

Jharkhand PSC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must be aware of the JPSC eligibility criteria specified by the authorities in terms of their age (as on 01/08/2024), qualifications, and experience.

A. Educational Qualification & Experience:

Essential: A degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences OR Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a university established by law in India.

Experience (Required for Schedule C Inspection Authority): Candidates must also have one of the following:

1. 18 months experience in the manufacture of at least one substance in Schedule C, OR
2. 18 months experience in testing at least one Schedule C substance in an approved lab, OR
3. 3 years of inspection experience of firms manufacturing Schedule C substances as a Drug Inspector.

B. Age Limit (as on 01/08/2024):

Minimum Age: 21 years.

Maximum Age:

• UR/EWS: 35 years.
• BC/EBC: 37 years.
• Women (UR/BC/EBC): 38 years.
• SC/ST (Male & Female): 40 years.

• PwBD Relaxation: Additional 10 years for eligible candidates.
