JPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2026: Scheme of Selection
The selection process will be conducted in the following stages:
Stage 1: Application Scrutiny
- Applications received online will be scrutinized based on eligibility criteria.
Stage 2: Preparation of Merit List
- The Commission shall prepare a merit list based on the marks obtained in Academic Record/Achievements (80 marks) as per the table in clause 8.
- 05 times candidates against each post will be called for Document Verification.
Stage 3: Document Verification
- After document verification, 03 times candidates against each post will be called for Interview.
Stage 4: Interview
- Interview carries 20 marks.
- Final merit list shall be prepared from the aggregate marks obtained in both Academic Record/Achievements and Interview stages.
Stage 5: Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of equal total marks:
- Candidate with higher marks in Post Graduation will be placed higher.
- If still equal, candidate who is older in age (according to date of birth) will be placed higher.
Stage 6: Recommendation
- The Commission shall send recommendations to the appointing authority based on the merit list, vacancies, and reservation roster.
