The KEA Kannada Language Test Exam Date 2026 has been announced through notification number ED/KEA/02/Recruitment/2026, dated 11th August 2026. The Kannada Language Test will be conducted on 22nd August 2026 (Saturday) from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The test is meant for candidates from the outside-Karnataka and Kalyana Karnataka recruitment quota who have qualified in the main recruitment examinations for the posts listed below, but who need to additionally clear a Kannada Language Test as per the Government Order dated 18.03.2025.
KEA Kannada Language Test Notification 2026
The Karnataka Examinations Authority notification explains that as per Government Order No. Siasu 102 Sevana 2022 dated 18.03.2025, candidates who did not study Kannada as a subject up to SSLC (or an equivalent/higher exam), or who did not pass SSLC (or a higher exam) in Kannada medium, or who did not previously clear a Kannada Language Test, must appear for and clear this Kannada Language Test.
This applies to candidates from the outside-Karnataka quota and the Kalyana Karnataka quota who have been declared successful in the main written examination for the following posts.
