For Genetics & Plant Breeding:
- Essential: First-class M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Genetics and Plant Breeding or allied disciplines, or equivalent. Four years of R&D experience in the required areas, shown by publications in reputed journals, after the academic degree.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding/Crop Improvement or allied disciplines; experience in crop breeding and genomics-assisted research; hands-on field experimentation, phenotyping, and data analysis.
For Developmental Biology:
- Essential: First-class M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields, or equivalent. Four years of R&D experience in the required areas, shown by publications in reputed journals, after the academic degree.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in life science (molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, or related areas); 3–5 years of post-doctoral experience in cell and developmental biology, with cell culture and model organism research.
