Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications as per the departmental recruitment rules:
- Sub Engineer: 3-year Diploma/Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Draftsman: Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with AutoCAD and drafting knowledge.

Selected candidates will be appointed on the following pay scales as per the 7th Pay Commission:
