MRPL Fire Officer Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
Step 1: Screening – Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:10 (post:candidates). If the number of eligible candidates exceeds this ratio, MRPL may use one or a combination of:
- Higher relevant educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed
- Higher relevant work experience (in years, months, days) in case of tied qualifications
- A written (screening) test
Step 2: Written Test (if conducted) – Qualifying marks for UR/OBC(NCL) candidates shall be 50%. This is for screening/elimination purposes only and carries no weightage in the final merit list.
Step 3: Personal Interview (PI) – Final merit is drawn purely on PI performance. Qualifying marks in PI shall be 50%. In case of a tie, the older candidate (by date of birth) will be given preference.
