The final answer key link for the Pre Upper Primary (Std. 5th) and Pre Secondary (Std. 8th) Scholarship Examination has been released on 30th March 2026 by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune. The Pre Upper Primary (Std. 5th) and Pre Secondary (Std. 8th) Scholarship Examination was conducted on Sunday, 22nd February 2026. An interim (tentative) answer key was published on 10th March 2026 on the official websites. Objections were received from candidates within the stipulated time. After considering the objections along with subject expert opinions, the council has revised and finalized the answer key. This answer key is now considered final, and no further correspondence regarding it will be entertained.
Through this examination, scholarships are awarded to meritorious students of Class 5 and Class 8 studying in various mediums across Maharashtra state government and private schools.
