INDIAN COAST GUARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF NAVIK (DOMESTIC BRANCH) 10TH ENTRY- 02/2019 BATCH. LAST DATE — 10/06/2019
NAVIK (DOMESTIC BRANCH (COOK & STEWARD))
Educational Qualification: 10th Class with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
Note:- 5% relaxation in above minimum marks will be given for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports person of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the ward of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years as on 01/10/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs. 21700/- initially per month.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.
Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible to apply.
The basic training will commence in October, 2019 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — Minimum 157 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms; Weight — Proportionate to height and age.
Note: Relaxation in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination. The Written Examination will be conducted during the month of June/ July 2019. The Examination will be held at various centres across India. For more details please see the Official Advt.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
