The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced the offer of two (02) Government Scholarships for Indian students by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in New Delhi for the academic year 2026-27 under the Medium-Term Development Cooperation Strategy of the Slovak Republic for 2025-30.
The online application portal for the Slovak Government Scholarships has been activated from 23rd March 2026 for Bachelor’s and Master’s level programmes in higher educational institutions in the Slovak Republic. Interested and eligible candidates can apply directly through the Slovak Government’s online portal. The last date for submission of applications is 25th May 2026.
What is the Slovak Republic Government Scholarship?
The Slovak Republic Government Scholarship is a bilateral scholarship offer under the Medium-Term Development Cooperation Strategy of the Slovak Republic for 2025-30. It is offered to Indian students to pursue higher education in the Slovak Republic. The Government of India’s Ministry of Education acts as a disseminator of this information, while the final selection is done solely by the Slovak Republic authorities.
