NHIDCL 2026 Type & Tenure of Engagement
- The engagement shall be at 1 (one) level — Associate.
- The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis.
- Associates shall have the legal status of an independent consultant vis-à-vis NHIDCL, and shall not be regarded as a staff member, official, or employee of NHIDCL.
- Associates will be engaged for a fixed period of 2 (two) years, extendable by 1 (one) year at a time, up to a maximum tenure of 3 (three) years, subject to the decision of the Consultants’ Review Committee (CRC).

The remuneration to be paid to Associates in the form of consultancy fees shall be approved by the Competent Authority. The remuneration is inclusive of all applicable taxes, and no other facility or allowance is admissible, except that Associates deployed in any Regional Office (RO), Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) or Site Office (SO) located in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands shall be entitled to a Location Allowance at the rate of 20% of the prescribed consultancy fee, payable for the period of actual deployment. An annual enhancement of 5% in the consultancy fee shall be allowed.
NHIDCL 2026 Terms of Reference (Associate)
The indicative Terms of Reference (ToR) for Associates under SSGS include:

Detailed ToR shall be drawn by the respective Regional Offices of NHIDCL for which Associates are selected, and the ToR shall be deemed part of the contract.
NHIDCL 2026 Induction & Competency Tests
There shall be an Induction Module of 3 (three) days, which each hired Associate shall undergo. The Competent Authority may also prescribe “Competency Tests” at any time, periodic or otherwise, which Associates shall be expected to clear as per the minimum qualifying marks prescribed.
NHIDCL 2026 Payment Terms
- Associates will be paid monthly remuneration within 7 (seven) days after completion of the month, subject to periodic completion of work certified by the Controlling Officer.
- Income tax or any other applicable tax will be deducted at source, for which NHIDCL will issue TDS certificates.
- Individual consultants shall be liable to pay Goods and Services Tax (GST), as applicable. NHIDCL undertakes no liability for taxes or other contributions payable by the Associates.

Selection of candidates will be based on their inclusion in the Eligible Pool of Applicants on the Resource Pool Portal, subject to fulfilment of prescribed eligibility conditions.
