NIELIT DLC Exams Postponed for Jan, Feb, and March Cycles; Admit Cards will Release with April Cycle Later

NIELIT DLC Exams Postponed: According to an official public notice, the examinations scheduled for the January, February, and March 2026 cycles have been deferred due to administrative reasons and will now be held together in April.

Candidates awaiting the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Digital Literacy Course (DLC) examinations have received a significant update regarding the schedule. In a recent public notice, the institute announced the postponement of all DLC exams including CCC, CCCP, ECC, ACC, and BCC that were originally slated for the January, February, and March 2026 exam cycles.

In a development that consolidates the examination timeline, officials cited “administrative reasons” for the deferment. With the previous cycles now postponed, the board has confirmed that all these deferred examinations will be merged into a single, consolidated April 2026 exam cycle.

The early decision to consolidate the cycles aims to streamline the examination process, though it means candidates who were preparing for the earlier months will now have a unified schedule in April.

While the institute has released the postponement notice, a tentative exam schedule for the April cycle is expected to be published shortly. Officials are currently formalizing the final timetable to accommodate the large volume of candidates in a single cycle.

Admit Cards to be Issued Later

In line with the revised schedule, the release of admit cards has also been deferred. NIELIT has clarified that hall tickets for the DLC CCC April 2026 examination will be issued at a later stage, once the final timetable is formalized.

Candidates are advised to closely monitor official updates, as the release of hall tickets will be critical in confirming individual exam dates and centers within this compressed cycle. The admit cards will contain essential details, including:

  • Candidate’s name and photograph
  • Roll number / registration number
  • Exam date and time slot
  • Examination centre address
  • Course name (CCC/CCCP/ECC/ACC/BCC)
  • Reporting time and exam-day instructions
  • Signature/authority stamp
