A total of 56 training slots are available for engagement as Industrial Trainee (Finance). The project/office-wise distribution is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for NLCIL Industrial Trainee Recruitment 2026

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements as specified in the official notification.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination of Chartered Accountant (CA) conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) OR
• Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination of Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
• Important: Candidates must be registered with the respective Institute (ICAI or ICMAI).
• Disqualification: Candidates who have already undergone training under a similar scheme for one year or more elsewhere will not be eligible to apply.

Upper Age Limit

• PwD Relaxation: 10 years for UR PwD, 13 years for OBC-NCL PwD, 15 years for SC/ST PwD.
• Ex-Serviceman: Relaxation as per Government of India rules.
• Overall Maximum Age: In all cases of relaxation, the maximum age limit is 58 years as on the crucial date.
• Note: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL is not applicable for consideration against unreserved slots.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a straightforward merit-based process:

1. Merit List: Selection will be based on the percentage of marks scored by candidates in their Intermediate examination of CA or CMA.
2. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted purely based on their marks.

NLCIL Industrial Trainee Stipend / Remuneration

Selected candidates will be engaged as Industrial Trainees for a period of 12 months.

• Monthly Stipend: Rs. 22,000/- (Rupees Twenty Two Thousand only) per month.
• Accommodation: Residential accommodation (unfurnished) on a sharing basis may be provided at nominal rent, subject to availability.
• No Employment Guarantee: Completion of training does not entitle trainees to any right for temporary or permanent employment in NLC India Limited.
