PwBD seats are horizontal (within the category totals). At NAPS, MAPS and KKNPP the PwBD seat is for Low Vision candidates; at KAPS it is for Deaf / Hard of Hearing candidates. At the other sites, it is open to a wider group of disabilities because the seat stayed unfilled in 2023–2025.

NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Selection Process 2026
There is no written exam for the NPCIL internship. Selection is based on Inter CA/CMA marks and a personal interview held online.
- Stage 1: Shortlisting – candidates are shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio based on aggregate marks in Inter CA / Inter CMA. Shortlisted candidates are informed by email.
- Stage 2: Virtual Personal Interview – conducted by the chosen unit/region. The e-call letter with the time and link can be downloaded from Applicant’s Login.
- Stage 3: Certificate Verification and Medical Examination – followed by police verification before joining.
Keep your Aadhaar card and online application form ready for the interview.
Tie-Breaking Rule
- Higher marks in Inter CA / Inter CMA rank higher.
- If interview and Inter marks are equal, the older candidate ranks higher.
- If everything is equal, the merit list follows alphabetical order of name.
A waitlist equal to the main list is kept for one year from the panel approval date.
NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Stipend 2026
NPCIL CA/CMA interns get a monthly stipend of Rs 20,000. If accommodation is not available at the unit or HQ, an extra Rs 5,000 per month is paid, taking the total to Rs 25,000.

Internship Terms and Benefits
- Duration: 12 months, extendable by up to 12 more months based on performance and institute rules. A completion certificate is given at the end.
- Working hours: 8 hours a day (including 1-hour lunch), 5 days a week, in general shift.
- Leave: 1 day of paid leave per month (12 days a year). Extra absence leads to stipend cut.
- Accommodation: single room at units on payment of normal licence fee, or Rs 5,000 per month if not available.
- Transport and medical: free site transport (subject to availability), and free OPD and first aid.
- Injury compensation: as per the Employees’ Compensation Act, 1923.
- No job guarantee: NPCIL is not bound to offer employment after the internship.
