Before applying for NSSNET 2026, candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria in terms of age and educational qualification.

Application Fees

Steps to Apply for the NTA NSSNET 2026
Candidates must follow these steps to complete the application process for NSSNET 2026.
Step 1 – Online Registration
- Go to the official website https://exams.nta.nic.in/nssnet/.
- Register online using a unique Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Note down the system-generated Application Number.
Step 2- Online Application
- Sign in with the Application Number and Password.
- Fill in personal details such as candidate’s name, parents’ names, and date of birth as per school records.
- Select the class for which you want to apply.
Step 3- Upload Documents
- Upload a scanned passport-size photograph (10kb-200kb) and signature (10kb-50kb) in JPG format.
- Upload left-hand thumb impression (10kb-50kb) and valid ID proof (10kb-200kb).
- If applicable, upload PwD/Category certificates in PDF format (50kb-300kb).
Step 4- Final Submission
- Verify all details in the preview before final submission.
- Print the Confirmation Page for future reference.
NSSNET Selection Process 2026
The selection of candidates for Class VI and VII admission is based on a single-stage process.
- Written Entrance Test (NSSNET-2026): Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in this exam.
- Document Verification: Final admission is subject to verification of original documents and medical fitness.
