Ordnance Factory Badmal Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are determined in terms of educational qualifications and age limit. Candidates must ensure they meet all conditions before applying.

Educational Qualification

For Tenure-Based DBW (Danger Building Worker):

• Essential: National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT in the trade of AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) .
• Feeder Trades: If AOCP candidates are not available, candidates with NAC in feeder trades like IMCP, MMCP, LACP, PPO, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, etc., will be considered.

For Tenure-Based Graduate/Diploma Project Engineer (Chemical):
Candidates must meet both the Educational Qualification and Apprenticeship criteria. Preference will be given in the following order:

1. B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering with Apprenticeship in ammunition/explosives manufacturing.
2. Diploma in Chemical Engineering with Apprenticeship in ammunition/explosives manufacturing.
3. B.Sc with Chemistry as a major subject with Apprenticeship in ammunition/explosives manufacturing.
4. B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Chemical Engineering with Apprenticeship in general chemical factories (not ammunition/explosives).

Age Limit

OF Badmal Selection Process 2026

The selection process varies for the two posts but is based on merit and subsequent tests/interviews.

For Tenure-Based DBW (Danger Building Worker):

1. Merit List (Initial): A category-wise merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the NCVT (NAC) examination.
2. Document Verification: Candidates are called for document verification based on their merit rank.
3. Trade/Practical Test: Eligible candidates after verification must appear for a Trade/Practical Test.
4. Final Merit: The final merit list is prepared with a weightage of:
   • 80% from NCVT (NAC) Exam Marks.
   • 20% from the Trade/Practical Test.

For Tenure-Based Project Engineer (Chemical):

1. Merit List (Initial): A category-wise and preference-wise merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma/B.Sc).
2. Document Verification: Candidates are called for document verification based on their merit rank.
3. Personal Interview: Eligible candidates after verification must appear for a Personal Interview.
4. Final Merit: The final merit list is prepared with a weightage of:
   • 85% from Degree/Diploma Marks.
   • 15% from the Personal Interview.

2. Fill the Form: Fill in the application form neatly in BLOCK LETTERS only. Paste a recent passport-size photograph and sign where required.
3. Gather Documents: Attach self-attested copies of all necessary documents, including:
   • 10th Certificate (for age proof).
   • Educational Qualification Certificates & Mark Sheets.
   • NCVT (NAC) Certificate & Mark Sheet (for DBW post).
