All qualifications should be from a recognized University/Institute, with minimum qualifying marks of 60% (55% for SC/ST) in the Degree/Diploma examination. Broad discipline-wise qualifications include:
- Civil / Civil (Construction): Engineering Degree in Civil.
- Electrical / Electrical (Construction): Engineering Degree/Diploma in Electrical.
- Instrumentation / Instrumentation (Construction): Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation & Control, Applied Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication, or Electronics & Telecommunication.
- Mechanical (Construction/Machinery/Material Handling/Piping/Pressure Vessel): Engineering Degree/Diploma in Mechanical.

PDIL Engineer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for these posts is based on screening of online applications as per eligibility criteria, followed by a Personal Interview. Only shortlisted candidates found prima-facie eligible will be intimated via email/e-mode for the interview. No telephonic queries will be entertained.
- Contract employees will initially be recruited for up to one year; based on performance, the contract may be renewed for a maximum of one year at a time, up to a total of three years from the date of joining.
- TA (Travel Allowance) will be reimbursed to shortlisted candidates who appear before the Interview Board, by III AC/Sleeper class rail fare via the shortest route, subject to submission of the TA Form (Annexure-I) along with required documents.
- Selected candidates may be posted/transferred to any PDIL office or project site across India during the tenure of the contract.
- PDIL reserves the right to terminate the contract with one month’s notice, or extend it at the sole discretion of Management.
