1. POSTAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 22 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Passed minimum either 12th standard or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
ii) Basic Computer Training Certificate of at least 60 days duration from a recognized computer training Institute/ Central Govt./ State Govt./ University/ Board.
The requirement of Basic Computer knowledge certificate shall be relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied Computer as a subject in Matriculation or Class XII or Higher educational qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 25/04/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
2. SORTING ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Passed minimum either 12th standard or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
ii) Basic Computer Training Certificate of at least 60 days duration from a recognized computer training Institute/ Central Govt./ State Govt./ University/ Board.

Educational Qualification: i) Minimum 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
ii) Basic Computer Training Certificate of at least 60 days duration from a recognized computer training Institute/ Central Govt./ State Govt./ University/ Board.
The requirement of Basic Computer knowledge certificate shall be relaxable in cases where a candidate has studied Computer as a subject in Matriculation or Class XII or Higher educational qualification.

4. MULTI TASKING STAFF

Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation or ITI from recognized Board.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 25/04/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

SPORTS QUALIFICATION:
i) Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in the sports/ games mentioned above.
ii) Sportsmen who have represented their University in the Inter University tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in the sports/ games mentioned above.
iii) Sportsmen who have represented the state schools team in the National Sports/ Games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in the sports/ games mentioned above.
iv) Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
The vacancies under Sports Quota (from Open Market) in Bihar Postal Circle. The candidates will be posted at Post Offices or Railway Mail Offices in different Divisions/ Units of Bihar Postal Circle.
The selected candidates will be on Probation and will also undergo Training as prescribed.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable upto 05 years (10 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidats will be on the basis of Educational Qualification, Sports Qualification and Field Trials.

Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Chief Postmaster General, Bihar Circle, payable at Post Office “Patna GPO, Patna”. Fee may also be deposited in Unclassified Receipt (UCP) in any post office of Bihar.
