1. PRINCIPAL
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos. (UR-02, ST-07, OBC-04)
Educational Qualification: i) Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University.
ii) Ph.D degree.
iii) Candidate must be able to speak Manipuri (Meetei/ Meitei Lon) or any of the Tribal dialect of Manipur.
iv) Candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur.
Note: A relaxation of 5% marks at Graduate and Master’s degree level will be given to SC/ST/PWD/OBC(NCL) category candidates.
Experience: i) Professor/ Associate Professor with total service/ experience of at least 15 years of teaching/ research in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education.
ii) Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
iii) Minimum 110 research score as per Appendix I.
Age Limit: Maximum 60 years or below as on 05/12/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.37,400-67,000/- with AGP of Rs.10,000/-
The vacancies are for Government Colleges under the Higher Education Department, Manipur. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of Five (05) years with eligibility for reappointment for One more term.
The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Examination and Interview. The centre of examination is Imphal.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates) as Examination Fee. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PWD CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 06/12/2018.
