PSSSB Excise Inspector Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring to apply for the Excise and Taxation Inspector post under Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board must fulfil the academic, professional and age-related eligibility criteria. - Register yourself by clicking on “Registration” to generate User ID and Password.

PSSSB Excise Inspector Selection Process 2026
The final selection of the candidates will be based on the written examination and documents verification. Through the written examination exam conducting authority tests the professional knowledge and aptitude.
Written Examination
The written examination will be of Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) conducted in two parts:
- Part-A: Punjabi Language paper of Matriculation standard (Qualifying in nature, 50% marks mandatory, marks not counted for merit).
- Part-B: Based on the educational qualification required for the post.
There will be negative marking in Part-B. Each question carries 1 mark and ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Document Verification
Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be called for the document verification. During the document verification candidates any mismatch will be found by the authority then candidate will be disqualified at that stage.
