Rajasthan RSSB Teaching Associate Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the vacancies, candidates must fulfil the required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit as mentioned in the official notification PDF.
Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- NET/SLET/SET qualified (UGC/CSIR) OR awarded PhD degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (with conditions: regular mode, two external examiners, open viva-voce, two research papers published, two papers presented in conferences).
Exemption from NET/SLET/SET:
- PhD candidates registered prior to July 11, 2009 (governed by then existing regulations)
- Master’s programmes in disciplines where NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by UGC/CSIR
Additional Qualification:
- Knowledge of working in Hindi in Devanagari script
- Knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture
Relaxation of 5% at Bachelor’s and Master’s level for candidates belonging to SC/ST/MBC/BC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD categories.

- One Time Registration (OTR) – First, complete OTR on the SSO Portal (https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in) or through E-Mitra/CSC kiosks.
- Login to SSO Portal – Use your SSO ID and password to log in.
