Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates who are willing to apply for the Contract Safai Karmachari post must make sure they fulfil the following eligibility criteria.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident (domicile) of Rajasthan.
- No specific educational qualification is prescribed for the post of Contract Safai Karmachari.
- Experience: Candidates having at least 1 year of experience in sanitation work in any urban local body of the state are eligible to apply. This experience may be continuous for 1 year or accumulated from separate periods totalling 1 year.
- The experience certificate must be issued by the concerned urban local body in the prescribed format, duly signed by the competent authority (Chief Municipal Officer/Ayukt, or authorized officer, as applicable, based on direct or contractor-mediated employment).
- The experience certificate must be issued on or after 1st August 2026 and before the last date of application to be considered valid.
- A candidate can apply for only one urban local body out of the 183 notified; applying to more than one ULB will lead to rejection of all such applications.
