RCB MS-PhD Programme: Fees, Fellowship & Selection Process
Selection Process: Eligible candidates must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B). Shortlisted students based on GAT-B performance are invited for an interview. Final selection is based on interview performance, assessing aptitude and interest in scientific research.
Fellowship: Admitted Indian and Foreign students receive the RCB-Ramachandran fellowship of Rs. 16,000 per month for the first 2 years. Thereafter, Indian students must qualify for JRF/SRF (CSIR, ICMR, DBT). Foreign students may receive the RCB-DBT International Doctoral Fellowship (Rs. 37,000 – 42,000 per month).
