NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY (NCR), ALLAHABAD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO 02 POSTS IN THE STREAM OF VOCAL- LIGHT CLASSICAL AND KEYBOARD INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC. LAST DATE — 17/02/2019
NAME OF THE STREAM & VACANCIES:
1. Vocal- Light Classical: 01 post
2. Keyboard Instrumental Music: 01 post
Educational Qualification:
i) Intermediate or equivalent examination passed with 50% aggregate marks from any recognized Board/ University.
ii) For Technical posts:- Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized Institutions of NCVT/ SCVT OR Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
iii) Possession of Degree/ Diploma certificate in respective cultural stream from recognized Institution.
Note: The condition of 50% marks is not insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen and candidates possessing higher qualification.
Desirable:
i) Experience in the field and performances given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc.
ii) Prizes won at national level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/ 2000/-
The vacancies are against Cultural Quota 2018-19 on North Central Railway (NCR).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Assessment of talent in the relevant field. The Written Test will be held between 05/03/2019 to 10/03/2019 tentatively.
