The Railway Recruitment Board has issued a notice confirming the schedule for the release of the provisional answer key for the ALP CBT exam. Candidates who appeared in the examination conducted from 13th February to 18th February 2026, and on 11th March 2026, can now prepare to check their responses and challenge any discrepancies. The notice was published on 18th March 2026, informing candidates that the portal for viewing answers and raising objections will go live on 20th March 2026.
The answer key viewing window is a critical step in the selection process, allowing candidates to verify their answers and ensure transparency. After reviewing the objections submitted by candidates, the RRB will release the final answer key, which will be used to calculate the CBT scores.

How to View the RRB ALP Answer Key and Raise Objections
- Go to the Official RRB Website: Navigate to the official website of your designated RRB (e.g., www.rrbchennai.gov.in, www.rrbsecunderabad.gov.in).
- Locate the CEN 01/2025 Link: On the homepage, under the latest announcements, find the link titled “Notice on Viewing of CBT Questions, Responses & Answer Keys and Raising of Objections for CEN 01/2025 (ALP).”
- Log in to Your Account: Click the link and you will be prompted to enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password to access your personal dashboard.
- View Questions and Answer Key: After logging in, you will be able to view the questions that appeared in your exam, the responses you marked, and the provisional answer key.
- Raise Objections (If Any): If you find an answer you believe is incorrect, select the specific question. You must provide a valid technical justification or reference to support your challenge.
- Pay the Prescribed Fee: Pay the non-refundable fee of ₹50 plus bank charges per objection using online modes like Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.
- Submit and Confirm: Submit your objections and save a screenshot or print the confirmation page for future reference.

Fee and Refund Details
The notice specifies that the fee for raising an objection is ₹50 plus applicable bank charges per question. If the objection submitted by a candidate is found to be correct by the RRB’s expert committee, the fee paid for that specific valid objection will be refunded after deducting bank charges. The refund will be credited back to the original payment account.
What After the RRB ALP Answer Key Objection Window?
After the objection window closes on 26th March 2026, the Railway Recruitment Board will review all valid challenges. A final answer key will then be published, and candidates’ scores for CBT-1 will be calculated accordingly. Candidates are advised to check the official RRB websites regularly for further updates.
