Age relaxation of 5 years is available for male SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidates and for women candidates of the Unreserved category; 10 years relaxation applies for women candidates of SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS categories. An additional 5-year relaxation is available for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), over and above the relaxation admissible as per their category. There is no upper age limit for widows, divorced women, and in-service candidates applying within the same Nigam.

RVUNL Recruitment Apply Online 2026
Candidates can refer to the steps provided below to fill the application form.
- Visit any one of the official websites — energy.rajasthan.gov.in or the respective Nigam portal (rrvun, rrvpn, jvvnl, jdvvnl, avvnl).
- Click on “Apply Online” for the relevant post (Junior Engineer-I / Junior Accountant / Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II).
- Register with your name, contact details and email ID to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Login and fill in the online application form, using “Save and Next” to verify details before final submission.
- Upload the scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration as per the prescribed specifications.
- Preview the application form carefully, as no changes are allowed after clicking “Final Submit”.
- Proceed to the payment tab and pay the applicable application fee online.
- Take a printout of the E-Receipt and the submitted application form for future reference.

The application fee is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward or reserved for any other recruitment. Bank transaction charges for online payment will have to be borne by the candidate. SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidates belonging to a state other than Rajasthan will be treated as Unreserved (General) candidates for fee purposes.
RVUNL Recruitment Selection Process 2026
The selection process differs slightly by post, but there is no interview for any of the posts in this recruitment.
Junior Engineer-I (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil):
- A single Computer Based Test (CBT) of 2 hours, consisting of Objective Type (MCQ) questions only.
- Part-A (60% weightage): Degree-level questions from the respective engineering discipline.
- Part-B (40% weightage): Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics (Class XII level), General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General, and English General.
- There is negative marking for every wrong answer.
Junior Accountant:
- A single CBT of 2 hours, consisting of Objective Type (MCQ) questions only.
- Part-A (60% weightage): Corporate Accounting, Income Tax, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting and related subjects, at Graduation level.
- Part-B (40% weightage): Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics (Class X level), General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General, and English General.
- There is negative marking for every wrong answer.
Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II:
- Phase-I: Pre-Examination (screening only, no weightage in final merit) followed by Main Examination — both CBTs of Objective Type (MCQ) questions covering Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics, General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General and English General.
- Phase-II: Typing Test in Hindi and English on computer (Speed Test and Efficiency Test).
- Final merit is prepared giving 40% weightage to Phase-I (Main Examination) marks and 60% weightage to Phase-II (Typing Test) marks.
- No negative marking in the Pre-Examination; negative marking applies in the Main Examination.
For all posts, minimum qualifying marks are 30% for UR category candidates and 20% for SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen/PwBD category candidates. Question papers (other than the Hindi General and English General sections) are bilingual, in English and Hindi.
RVUNL Recruitment Salary 2026
Selected candidates will initially be engaged as “Probationer Trainee” for two years, during which they will be paid a fixed monthly remuneration. On successful completion of probation, they will be fixed at the minimum of the corresponding Level in the Pay Matrix as Basic Pay.
