SBC Group C Recruitment 2026 selection process comprises the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): All applicants for CA’A’, CH, FED(OG), and CMTD(OG) must appear for an online CBT of 120 minutes, consisting of 100 bilingual (Hindi/English, except General English) multiple-choice questions.
- Endurance/Skill Test (FED & CMTD only): There is no Endurance/Skill Test for CA’A’ and CH applicants. For FED(OG), candidates shortlisted in a 1:15 ratio based on CBT merit undergo an Endurance Test (sand & water bucket carry, squats, push-ups, sit-ups) followed by a Skill Test (driving test, vehicle mechanism knowledge, firefighting awareness). For CMTD(OG), shortlisted candidates undergo only a Skill Test (driving test, vehicle mechanism knowledge). Both tests are qualifying in nature.
- Final Merit List: Based on CBT marks only, subject to qualifying in the Endurance/Skill Test where applicable.
- Document Verification & Medical Examination: Provisionally selected candidates undergo verification of documents and medical examination before final appointment.
