CENTRE FOR NANO AND SOFT MATTER SCIENCES (CENS) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF SCIENTISTS, UPPER DIVISION CLERK AND MULTI TASKING SUPPORT STAFF. LAST DATE — 31/05/2019
1. SCIENTIST ‘D’
Educational Qualification: Doctorate degree in Natural Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine from a recognized University.
Experience: Should have 08 years of experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 31/05/2019.
2. SCIENTIST ‘C’
Educational Qualification: Doctorate degree in Natural Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine from a recognized University.
Experience: Should have 06 years of experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 31/05/2019.
3. UPPER DIVISION CLERK
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
ii) Proficiency in Computer Operations.
Experience: Minimum 03 years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2019.
4. MULTI TASKING SUPPORT STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Minimum qualification of S.S.L.C.
ii) Should have basic knowledge of Computer (desirable).
Experience: Five years working experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2019.
The posts of Scientist ‘D’ and Scientist ‘C’ are Contractual in nature and for a period of two (02) years. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview/ Test.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 500/- (for the posts of Scientist ‘D’ and Scientist ‘C’ only) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences, payable at Bengaluru. Fee may also be paid through NEFT/ RTGS.
