SCIENTIST/ ENGINEER ‘SC’ (AGRICULTURE)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: First class M.Sc (Agriculture) in Agronomy/ Horticulture/ Crop Physiology/ Plant Physiology with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA with 1st class B.Sc as pre-qualification.
Desirable: i) Diploma (PGD) in Remote Sensing and GIS or equivalent.
ii) Preference will be given to candidates working in the area of space technology applications with microwave/ hyper-spectral remote sensing.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 17.11.2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.56100-177500/-
Candidates awaiting for final result are not eligible to apply.
The post is Temporary but likely to continue. The selected candidates shall be posted at North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Umiam.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.250/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), payable at State Bank of India, Umiam Branch. Candidates should write their name on the back side of Demand Draft.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST/ PWD/ EX-SERVICEMAN/ WOMEN CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 11.12.2018.
