COCHIN SHIPYARD LIMITED INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 50 POSTS OF SHIP DRAFTSMAN TRAINEE (MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL). LAST DATE — 02/05/2019
NAME OF THE POSTS AND VACANCIES:-
Total Vacancies: 50 Nos.
1. Ship Draftsman Trainee (Mechanical): 29 posts (UR-13, OBC-05, SC-07, ST-02, EWS-02)
2. Ship Draftsman Trainee (Electrical): 21 posts (UR-09, OBC-04, SC-04, ST-02, EWS-02)
Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC and three year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical disciplines from a State Board of Technical Education with 60% marks (55% marks and above for SC/ST/PWD categories) or equivalent qualification with flair for Draftsmanship and proficiency in CAD.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 02/05/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10500/- for 1st year & Rs.11500/- for 2nd year per month.
The selected candidates will be on Training for two years.
Note: Those draftsman trainees and draftsman on-contract who are currently working in CSL as on 02/05/2019 are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Test, Certificate Verification and Practical Test. The Online Test will be held at various centres in Kochi/ Kerala.
