Education Qualification for EX. ITI
i) For Fitter, Machinist & Turner:- Passed 10th class examination (under 10+2) or its equivalent and should possess NTC in respective trade issued by NCVT.
ii) For Carpenter, Painter, Welder (Gas & Electric) & Wireman:- Passed 8th class examination (under 10+2) with science as one of the subjects, or its equivalent and should possess NTC in respective trade issued by NCVT.
iii) For Plumber:– Passed 10th class examination (under 10+2) with science as one of the subjects, or its equivalent and should possess NTC in respective trade issued by NCVT.
iv) For Electrician:– Passed 10th class examination (under 10+2) with science as one of the subjects, or its equivalent and should possess NTC in respective trade issued by NCVT.
v) For Electronics Mechanic,Refrigeration and AC Mechanic & Draughtsman (Civil): Passed 10th class examination (under 10+2) with science as one of the subjects (Physics & Chemistry) and Mathematics, or its equivalent and should possess NTC in respective trade issued by NCVT.
vi) For Diesel Mechanic, Advance Welder, Electronics/ Information Technology & Instrument Mechanic: Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent and should possess NTC in respective trade issued by NCVT.
Qualification in case of Fresher Candidates (for above Trades): Class 12th Std pass in Science Stream.
vii) For Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology and Pathology): Passed 12th class examination (under 10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Note: Candidates with Higher Qualification are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum-15 years and maximum-24 years and (22 years for Fresher Fitter) as on 12/03/2018.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be based on Merit List. Selected candidates will be on training for a period of one year. Application form can be collected form the Chief Work Shop Manager, Office /S&T/WS/Podanur, or welfare inspector /S&T/WS/PTJ between (10 am to 1pm)
