SSC GD Selection Process 2025

According to the Staff Selection Commission, the SSC GD Selection Process consists of several stages. These stages are described below:

Computer-Based Exam (CBT) – The CBT is the first stage of the SSC GD Constable recruitment process. It consists of an objective multiple-choice test divided into four sections to assess candidates’ general knowledge and ability.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – The PET assesses candidates’ physical fitness through various tasks. These tasks ensure that candidates meet the necessary physical standards for the role. The test is crucial for evaluating endurance and physical capabilities.

Physical Standard Test (PST) – The PST involves measuring candidates’ physical standards, such as height, chest, and weight. The PST ensures that candidates possess the necessary physical attributes for the demanding duties of a GD Constable.

Medical Examination (ME) – The medical examination stage involves a thorough check to verify candidates’ physical and medical fitness. This includes tests for vision, hearing, blood pressure, and overall health to ensure candidates can perform the required duties.

Document Verification (DV) – Document Verification is the final stage, where candidates’ credentials and documents are verified. This includes educational certificates, identity proofs, caste certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents. Successful document verification is crucial for final selection.
