1. STAFF NURSE – LABOUR ROOM & HIGH DEPENDENCY UNIT (ONLY FEMALE CANDIDATES)
No. of Vacancies: 161 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) GNM or B.S.C Nursing from a recognized Institute and must have registered with the Himachal Pradesh Nursing Council.
ii) Fresher can apply.
Desirable: i) Proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect.
ii) Work experience in the public health system, preferably at the Primary/ Community Health Center level.
Age Limit: 40 years and below as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9500 – 19000/-
2. NURSING TRAINER – SKILL LAB
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc Nursing from a recognized Institute and must have registered with the Himachal Pradesh Nursing Council.
ii) Fresher can apply.
Desirable: i) Proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect.
ii) Work experience in the public health system, preferably at the Primary/ Community Health Center level.
Age Limit: 35 years and below as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9500 – 19000/-
3. COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER – HEALTH & WELLNESS CENTRE
No. of Vacancies: 264 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc Nursing from a recognized Institute and must have registered with the Himachal Pradesh Nursing Council.
ii) Fresher can apply.
Desirable: i) Proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect.
ii) Work experience in the public health system, preferably at the Primary/ Community Health Center level.
Age Limit: 35 years and below as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9500 – 19000/-

The post of Community Health Officer is part of an initiative under the National Health Mission (NHM) to strengthen Sub Centres as Health & Wellness Centres (H&WCs) for improved implementation of public health programmes and to enable Comprehensive primary Health care services delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion. Candidates who successfully complete the course are likely to be posted at theses Sub Centres as Community Health Officers (CHOs) to lead a primary health care team consisting of frontline workers such as the female health workers (ANMs), male health worker (MPW) and ASHAs.
Candidates having relevant Qualification and Experience will be given preference.
