TGPSC Lecturer 2026 Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the required academic qualifications as of the notification date (18/06/2026).
For Senior Lecturer & Lecturer Posts:
- Must possess a Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with not less than 55% marks from a UGC-recognized university.
- Must also possess an M.Ed. Degree with not less than 55% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution.
For Lecturer in Physical Education:
- Must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education with not less than 55% marks from an NCTE-recognized university.
Note: For SC, ST, BC, and Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks are 50%.
Application Fee
The application and examination fees must be paid online. The fee structure is as follows:
Application Processing Fee:
- Rs. 1000/- for OC & BC applicants.
- Rs. 500/- for SC, ST & PwD applicants.
Examination Fee:
- Rs. 120/- for all candidates, except unemployed applicants (who are exempted) and employees of the Government/PSUs/Corporations.
TGPSC Lecturer 2026: Age Limit
The age limit for the post is as follows:
- Minimum Age: 18 years (should not be born after 01/07/2008).
- Maximum Age: 44 years (should not be born before 02/07/1982).
Relaxations:
- SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 Years.
- PH (Persons with Disabilities): 10 Years.
- Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 Years.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years + service rendered.

- Visit the official TGPSC website: www.tqpsc.gov.in.
- If you are a new user, complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process to get your TGPSC ID.
- Registered users can log in using their TGPSC ID, Date of Birth, and OTP.
- Fill in the online application form with all required details carefully.
- Upload a recent color passport-size photograph (100kb-200kb) and scanned signature (20kb-30kb).
- Preview the application and click on “SAVE & PAYMENT” to pay the prescribed fee.
- Download and save the generated PDF application form for future reference.

What is the Selection Process for TGPSC Lecturer 2026?
The selection will be made through a written examination (Objective Type), which will be conducted either in OMR-based offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode as decided by the Commission.
- Paper I: General Studies and General Abilities (150 Questions, 150 Marks).
- Paper II: Concerned Subject (Part A & Part B, 150 Questions, 150 Marks).
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination. Normalization of scores will be applied for multi-session CBRT. The final merit list will be based on the total marks secured.
Qualifying Marks:
- OC, Sportspersons & EWS: Not less than 40%.
- BCs: Not less than 35%.
- SCs, STs, and PHS: Not less than 30%.
Note: The commission will also conduct verification of original documents and a medical examination before final appointment.
